Most people don't get to see even the
common areas for the luxury suites at Darrell K. Royal- Texas Memorial Stadium.
Fewer get to see this mural in person, but avid fans of the football
program will often see interviews of players and coaches conducted before
this mural and its near twin on opposite ends of the football player's "Team"
room.
Lee has often joshed that ..."I can't
afford to keep my own work!" While that may not necessarily be true
of his oils he is not planning to pony up for the privilege of seeing this
view six times every fall. That runs about $50,000 per year to start.
He does come back about once a year to touch up. Unfortunately
they don't throw in a football game while he is there.
