Margaret Kessler

About the Artist

 Award-winning artist Margaret
Kessler taught painting workshops
for over thirty years. She is the
author of two books:  Painting Better
Landscapes and Color Harmony in
Your Paintings. Excerpts from her
first book were included in
Everything You Ever Wanted to
Know About Oil Painting and
Painting the Elements. Kessler has
written and illustrated several
articles for “The Artist’s Magazine”
and has been featured in
“Southwest Art” (magazine).
Originally from Indiana, she resides
in Huntsville, Texas with her
husband, Jere, and their dog,
Honey.  Their two grown sons live in
Washington, D. C. and Hong Kong.
